The Nashville Predators scored three times in the first period and cruised to a 4-1 win over the Minnesota Wild at the Sommet Center Saturday night.
Martin Gelinas opened the scoring at the 6:54 mark of the first period and Dan Hamhuis made it 2-0 a few moments later. J.P. Dumont took a pass from Alexander Radulov and scored at 18:10 of the first period to give Nashville a 3-0 lead.
Martin Erat finished the scoring for Nashville in the third period.
