The Nashville Predators re-signed restricted free agent forward Ryan Jones on Monday.
Jones agreed to a two-year deal at $975,000 per season.
The 25-year-old made his NHL debut last season and played 46 games for the Predators. He had seven goals and 10 assists, and added 13 goals and nine assists in 22 appearances for AHL affiliate Milwaukee.
Previously this offseason, two other restricted free agents, forwards Antti Pihlstrom and Kelsey Wilson, bypassed the franchise’s qualifying offers and signed with teams in Europe. Pihlstrom signed to play in Sweden and Wilson in Austria.
Center Cal O’Reilly is the only Nashville restricted free agent who has yet to sign.
O’Reilly, like Jones, made his NHL debut last season. He appeared in 11 games and had three goals and two assists.
