The Nashville Predators reassigned forward Dave Scatchard to their AHL affiliate in Milwaukee on Thursday.

The 33-year-old who became a full-time player again this year after having sat out most of the last two had no goals and two assists in nine appearances since being recalled on Oct. 20. He also had a team-high 58 percent success rate on faceoffs.

The move was made because forward J.P. Dumont, Nashville’s leading scorer, is set to return to the lineup after having missed the previous three games with an upper body injury.

The Predators play at St. Louis, 7 p.m. tonight (Fox Sports Tennessee-Comcast Ch. 28; WGFX-FM 104.5).
