Crystal Langhorne scored 28 points to lead No. 1 seed Maryland to an 80-66 win over No. 4 seed Vanderbilt on Saturday in the NCAA Sweet 16 in Spokane, Wash.
The 21st-ranked Commodores ended their season 24-9.
Maryland, 2006 national champions, will make its sixth regional championship game appearance Monday.
The Terrapins (33-3) held Vanderbilt to just 34.5 percent shooting in the first half and forced nine turnovers that resulted in 10 easy points. Christina Wirth, VU's leading scorer, was held scoreless for the first 15 1/2 minutes.
Wirth finished with 13 points and Jessica Mooney added 11.
