Police in Denver have cited Tennessee Titans running back LenDale White with three charges in an incident early Saturday morning.
Sharon Hahn, PIO for the Denver Police Department, told The City Paper on Sunday evening that White, a Denver native, had been cited with destruction of property, disobedience to a lawful order/interference and resistance.
According to Hahn, White was cited with the charges between Champa and Stout streets in the lower downtown area of Denver.
Various reports said White was at a club in the area Friday night at a party thrown in his honor.
White, 23, was Tennessee’s second-round pick in 2006 out of Southern California. He took over as the team’s starting running back this past season. White rushed for 1,110 yards on 303 carries and scored seven touchdowns.
Hahn said a court date would be set for White to answer the citation, and indicated that she did not have any details of what led to the alleged incident.
Efforts to reach the Titans were unsuccessful on Sunday evening.
