Tennessee Titans receiver Kenny Britt was arrested in Glen Ridge, N.J. around 11 p.m. on Friday evening after authorities discovered he had three unpaid previous traffic tickets.
Britt, 21, was pulled over in Glen Ridge by authorities, who then ran a check of his record and found two unpaid tickets in Elizabeth, N.J., and another in Jacobstown, N.J.
Britt, the Titans first-round pick, was the 30th choice overall in the 2009 NFL Draft. He had 42 receptions for 701 yards as a rookie.
The trio of unpaid tickets totaled $865 in fines.
Britt posted bail for the warrants, according to www.northjersey.com, and was released from jail.
According to NFL spokesman Greg Aiello, the league doesn't generally discipline players under the personal conduct policy in matters of minor traffic offenses.
