The Tennessee Titans claimed punter Brett Kern off waivers from the Denver Broncos and waived punter Reggie Hodges.

Kern, a second-year player, ranks fifth in the NFL in gross average last year at 46.7 yards per punt and is averaging 46.1 yards in gross average this year.

Hodges struggled this season averaging just 39.2 yards per punt with only one punt downed inside the 20.

The Broncos dropped Kern when they opted to sign veteran Mitch Berger.

I don't know why in the hell they didn't keep A.J Trapasso, instead dang it!!!! Let me see Fisher's, idea just like it was his idea to keep a rookie to return kicks for us!

I have to say I am sick of this anti- Fisher crap. I did not hear it last season when all was well! The game plays have been right for what ever reason the lazy bunch is not trying to make the plays work......now that has to change and as for some of the players in certain positions....well they must have looked good at one point....in the end it is up to the players to make the play happen.J.P.L.

Good that we got Kern -- Hodges was simply horrible. I'm sick of the anti-Fisher stuff too. He's done a lot more good than bad. Plus, who knows who's making the personnel calls? Adams is probably sticking his nose in the kick returner decisions too.

We did keep Trapasso, he is on the practice squad. I want to know why we keep signing other punters instead of giving him a chance.
