Titans have had luck plucking players off NFL scrap heap

Tony Brown just wanted another chance to play football.

After being out of the NFL last season and going to NFL Europe and then being released by the Carolina Panthers in September, Brown was a street free agent simply hoping another chance would come soon enough.

It did when the NFL suspended Albert Haynesworth for five games and the Tennessee Titans needed a defensive tackle. Brown was at church when the Titans answered his prayers by offering him a tryout. He was so excited that after he first signed, he explained
