Titans-Jets kickoff moved up

The NFL schedule isn’t even a week old, and already there is a change involving the Tennessee Titans.

Tennessee’s 3:15 p.m. CDT game at the New York Jets on Sept. 27 at Giants Stadium has been switched to a noon CDT start because of a request by the Jets to accommodate some Jets fans because of the Jewish holiday Yom Kippur, which begins at sundown that Sunday.

The Titans are also scheduled to play another holiday game, hosting the San Diego Chargers on Christmas night at 6:30 p.m. CST.

Yom Kippur. That's the day of atonement, right? Talk about great timing. Jets fans will be able to curse, drink, shout, and commit other sins out of frustration from another loss to the Titans, and then immediately seek forgiveness. Everybody wins.... except the Jets, that is.
