1.Be a grinch. The Titans have done a good job of staying aggressive and competing each week, despite a 4-10 record. That will be put to the test with a road game on Christmas Eve against another non-contender.
2. Keep it rolling. After 10 quarters of offensive frustration, the Titans offense finally found its passing game and scored 24 straight points in the loss to Seattle. They did it by protecting Steve McNair and giving him time to find Drew Bennett and Ben Troupe downfield. The Titans need more of that in order to keep the offense rolling.
3. Stop the run. Three straight games, the Titans have now allowed a 100-yard rusher, with Shaun Alexander going for 172 yards last week. This week, there is a double-barreled tandem in Miami facing them in Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams. The defense must step up.
4. Keep being special. Two blocked field goals in two weeks, a punt return for a TD two weeks ago and the penalties have been kept to a minimum. Special teams has turned out to be the most solid area on the Titans right now. That will have to continue over the final two weeks.
