Titans' single-game ticket sale coincides with the start of camp

Single-game tickets for all Tennessee Titans’ 2010 home games – regular season and preseason – will go on sale 10 a.m. July 31, the team announced Thursday. That will be the first day players practice at training camp.

Approximately 3,000 tickets remain for each of the eight regular-season and two preseason contests. Fans may purchase as many as four per game for a maximum of two games.

Ticket prices range from $45 to $85.

“We are very appreciative of the loyal support of our fans,'” Don MacLachlan, executive vice president of administration and facilities for the Titans, said in a release announcing the sale. “It's always a big day for our fans and I'm sure it will be again.'”

The Titans will play the following home games during the regular season: Oakland (Sept. 12), Pittsburgh (Sept. 19), Denver (Oct. 3), Philadelphia (Oct. 24), Washington (Nov. 21), Jacksonville (Dec. 5), Indianapolis (Dec. 9) and Houston (Dec. 19).

The preseason contests will be Aug. 23 against Arizona and Sept. 2 against New Orleans.

The franchise his sold out 114 straight games since it moved to LP Field in 1999.

And this is big news? This has been the standard since the Titans have been in Nashville, yet the local media treats this like it is BREAKING NEWS!! And all the TV stations will send their local news crews out to LP Field the week before to show the fans camping out all week waiting to purchase tickets like they have for the last 12 seasons. This is NOT BIG, BREAKING NEWS anymore. Start reporting REAL BREAKING NEWS!!!!
