Titans missions

1. Get in the zone. The Titans have made 13 trips into the red zone this season, yet have come away with no points on five occasions. Tennessee must have better efficiency when scoring opportunities present themselves.

2. Shore up the secondary. The Titans secondary, featuring two first-round picks at cornerback in Andre Woolfolk and Pacman Jones, is allowing opponents to complete 70 percent of their passes. Even the lowly Texans have to be looking forward to that.

3. Stop self-destructing. Penalties and turnovers have plagued the Titans offense that desperately needs to find some sort of rhythm in order to take pressure off the defense. Rookies and veterans alike have been the culprits at key times.

4. Win on third down. The Titans have not won many battles on either side of the ball on third down. Coach Jeff Fisher says that will be a priority among the many issues that must be addressed.
