The Tennessee Titans now know the task before them if they want to earn their fourth playoff berth in the past five seasons.

And it is the simplest means possible for them to accomplish: Win this Sunday against the Houston Texans and the Titans will clinch a wild-card playoff berth.

The Titans, 10-4, still have an outside chance to wrest the AFC South championship away from the Indianapolis Colts, but Tennessee would have to win out against Houston and Tampa Bay and have the Colts lose out this week against Denver and in the regular-season finale against the Texans.

Tennessee currently would hold a No. 5 seed, and if that plays out, likely would face the winner of the AFC North. Cincinnati and Baltimore are both 8-6 with Bengals holding the current edge in the tiebreakers.
