The United States women’s national soccer team will play Scotland on Feb. 13 at LP Field in the second of two matches between the teams, U.S. Soccer announced Thursday.
No start time has been determined for the contest, which will take place four days after the teams meet in Jacksonville. Tickets will go on sale Jan. 11.
The matches are part of a series of commemorative events U.S. Soccer has planned to celebrate its 100th anniversary and will be the first for U.S. coach Tom Sermanni, a native of Scotland. He was hired in October to begin in 2013 after eight years as coach of Australia’s women’s national team.
The U.S. women’s national team, which finished No. 1 in the international rankings, has played at LP Field one other time. That was July 2, 2004, and was one of its final tune-ups before that year’s Olympics.
