A top wide receiver that decided to de-commit from LSU's recruiting class may be heading to the University of Tennessee and new coach Derek Dooley, according to several news sources, including InsideTennessee.com

Justin Hunter, a Virginia Beach, Va. native, initially committed to play for the Tigers in May 2009, although many had speculated he might change his mind.

InsideTennessee.com reported late Tuesday that Hunter committed to Tennessee after a home visit from UT coaches — and if true, the recruit would be a quick feather in the cap for Dooley, who has been on the job only since Friday.

Hunter apparently has been considering Virginia, Alabama, Clemson, Florida, North Carolina and Penn State along with LSU and Tennessee, according to Scout.com.

Considered by many recruiting analysts as a national Top 25 pass receiver, Hunter is a 6-foot-4, 185-pounder from Ocean Lakes High in Virginia Beach. His coach there had told Rivals.com that Hunter would commit to the Vols this week, according to the website.
