Vanderbilt will begin 2009 football season ticket sales to the general public on Thursday.
Packages are available from $109 and up per seat and may be purchased at the McGugin Center ticket office, online at www.vucommodores.com or by phone at (615) 322-4653. Ticket office hours are 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Single-game ticket sales will not start until later in the summer.
“I think everybody associated with Vanderbilt football is excited about the coming season, from the coaches and players to our fans that closely follow the team,” coach Bobby Johnson said in a release distributed by the school. "I know the support means a tremendous amount to our team success.”
The Commodores will play six home games in 2009, beginning Sept. 4 against Western Carolina.
Up until now, packages have been available only to previous season-ticket holders and to members of the Commodore Club.
