The deal is finally done.

More than half of 100 Oaks Mall will soon house clinical and administrative operations of Vanderbilt University Medical Center, officials of both 100 Oaks management and Vanderbilt University Medical Center confirmed Friday afternoon. Approximately 1,000 VUMC employees will work at what will soon be called the Vanderbilt Oaks Medical Center, and facilities will accommodate 2,000 patients each day.

As first reported in The City Paper, negotiations between VUMC and 100 Oaks have been in progress since early this year. The deal includes a long-term leasing agreement for 436,524 square feet of the 850,000-square-foot mall. Price per square foot was not immediately disclosed.

Current tenants including TJ Maxx, CompUSA, Electronic Express, PetSmart, Burlington Coat Factory, Ross, and K&G Fasion Superstore will remain, as well as Regal Cinema and Guitar Center.
